Harvey's is now the Official Burger of the LUG

Your pre-game meal just got a whole lot more Flame-Grilled. 

LUG is proud to announce Harvey's as the new Official Burger of the LUG. 

As Canada's largest student and alumni sports and social community, LUG offers a unique grassroots opportunity to connect Harvey's with students, athletes, and young professionals in over 25 cities across Canada. 

Together, Harvey's and LUG will be offering participants in the LUG and throughout the LUG community some exciting new experiences, contests, giveaways and the Flame-Grilled Harvey's burgers and veggie burgers that Harvey's has been famous for since 1959.

 Here's the deal...

In order to best reach the 19-30 year-old market, Harvey's has partnered with the LUG knowing we have a strong foothold with a demographic that can be difficult to penetrate. 

“Being an older brand with new innovation to offer and burgers made to your taste every day, we’re excited to partner with LUG and reach a younger audience that may not have grown up with Harvey’s” - Harvey’s Senior Marketing Director, Chelsea Kellock.

To continue developing awareness within this demographic, LUG will be assisting Harveys with a grassroots marketing approach that consists of both in-person sampling and online influencer engagement. A few of the activations that LUG will be executing with their members and followers includes: 

• Virtual Harvey's Burger Eating Competition hosted on Instagram Live (more details to come)

• A Free Harvey's Burger / Free Veggie Burgers for all LUG members

• eSports Harvey's Burger Nights with 'Burger Drops' for members of the LUG Discord channel

• Other Social Media contests and giveaways within the LUG Power Play Unit

Both LUG and Harvey's are excited to get more of the best burgers in Canada into the hands of LUG members and their community.
