What is LUG? |
| LUG is a co-ed sports league that runs athletic and social events for college, university students, and alumni across North America. We deliver leagues that are specifically designed around the student lifestyle and the academic calendar. When minor sports stop, LUG is the league that players choose to keep on playing in a fun, competitive and community building environment. We facilitate the end to end experience, including all aspects of league operations and a full slate of social experiences for on and off the ice, fairway, console, & diamond. |
Who is LUG For? Can anyone play? |
| LUG is for everyone! We have spots for players of all skill levels. You do not have to be a student to register for LUG sport, however, most of our players are enrolled in college or university programs. |
DO YOU HAVE WOMEN's LEAGUES? |
| Yes! Women can play in any division in LUG as all of our divisions are COED. We also offer some women's only sports leagues in specific cities as well. |
Is LUG Full-Contact? |
| No. LUG sports are all non-contact. |
Where do we play? |
| LUG plays out of venues close to university and college campuses. We look to book the best facility available for each location including professional venues where-ever possible. |
How much does it cost to play in LUG? |
| The cost to play in LUG varies by sport and by city. |
How Do Payments Work? |
| Some sports require captains to make full payment for the entire team on registration. Other sports are divided into equal payments amongst the team. LUG states the number of players required per team to meet the minimum team fee requirements. |
I signed up as a team captain/free agent, when will I receive any information regarding my game time or team assignment? |
| All of LUG schedules and player assignments are done manually. LUG will typically release schedules and team assignments once we're within a week of the league start date. |
Can I sign up without a team? |
| Yes. Players can sign up as Free Agents, in small groups or as full teams. Free Agents should select the Free Agent team in the registration system for their respective division and sport. We will do our best to place all Free Agents on teams, however, we cannot guarantee this for every player. Small groups should sign up as free agents and name each participant they'd like to be paired with during the registration. |
If I register as a free agent, can I be placed with my friend(s)? |
Absolutely! During the Free Agent registration process you'll be asked if there's anyone else with whom you would like to be placed. As long as everyone registers in a timely manner and before the league sells out, we'll always do our best to honour your request(s).

How Do Jerseys work? |
| LUG provides jerseys for every team sport we run. The quantity of jerseys provided per team is listed on the registration. Since LUG produces all of our jerseys custom with our factories overseas, we do not have replacement jerseys, sizes, or additional units available for sale. Premium LUG jerseys are available in limited quantities and go to the first teams who sign up. Any team who signs up late may receive locally sourced jerseys that may differ from advertised jersey designs. |

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TEAM FOLDS?

| When a team folds, the players on the team are moved to the Free Agent pool as a small group. Players will then be grouped together and added to other teams who need additional players. All registrations are final once submitted. No refunds will be given. |
