Calling all Female Hockey Players!

After years of building up a new, better way to play hockey on campus, the team at LUG is turning our attention on how we can help grow the game of Women's Hockey in Canada. This season, we are launching 4 NEW women's only hockey leagues in Ontario in London, Kingston, Ottawa, and Waterloo! 

First things first...we know that more often than not, you may not have a full team of girls ready to sign up to play. NOT TO WORRY! That's why we've made it easy for you to sign up on your own OR with a group of friends (i.e. if you have 4 friends we will keep you together). Just follow the guide below and we'll get you sorted!

1. JOIN OUR WOMEN'S HOCKEY FACEBOOK GROUP FOR YOUR CITY

Any girls interested in playing hockey this year at school should join our Facebook group. We use these groups to build up rosters and assign players to teams. 

ACT: Join the group for your city and leave a comment that you're interested in playing this year! Tag any of your friends that you want to play with. 

If you already have a full team, you can sign up your squad by going to this page & selecting your city/league. 

2. LUG WILL ASSIGN YOU (AND ANY FRIENDS) TO A ROSTER ON OUR SHARED GOOGLE SHEET

Once you've joined the group and commented that you want to play, we will add you to a roster. When the roster is filled up, we will message the team and send you the links to register and pay for the season. 

If you're interested in learning about the details of our leagues (such as days we play, arenas, costs, etc) head to this page and click on the TEAM or PLAYER reg to see full details. Don't worry you won't be asked to pay just yet.

3. HELP SPREAD THE WORD

The women's hockey community is small but mighty. That's why we need your help to spread the word about these leagues in order to get them up and running.

• Invite them to the Facebook Group

Help us, help you! 

We want to get these leagues up and running but it's going to take some team work. Spread the word and we'll have a competitive, fun, and women's specific league launching in October!
