Penalties for Canadian residents that violate municipal COVID-19 laws range from $5,000-$100,000. That's a lotttt of PBRs. While other leagues chose to shut down, we've been planning all summer trying to Keep the Dream Alive and give you all a great season because we know how important hockey is to the mental and physical well being of our players.
To do this, we're taking it extremely seriously and we hope you are too. This is bigger than you, LUG or anyone else.
COVID RULES
HERE'S HOW IT WILL WORK

| ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE | Players can arrive a maximum of 15 minutes prior to scheduled ice time and must depart the arena 15 minutes after games. |
| SCREENING | Anyone entering the facility must complete the COVID-19 screening or will be denied entry. |
| DRESSED AT ARRIVAL | Some arena's require players to arrive dressed to play. Use the grid below to check the requirements for your city. This requires players (except goalies) to arrive in full equipment (minus skates, gloves, and helmet). Goalies see below. |
| PHYSICAL DISTANCING | Players will be required to observe physical distancing measures at all times inside of the arena. THIS INCLUDES ON BENCHES. |
| SANITIZING | We strongly recommend sanitizing your hands frequently while in the arena |
SPITTING | Spitting on benches will result in immediate removal from league. The risk of transmission is just too high. |
| MASKS | Masks are required at all times when not wearing a helmet. No exceptions. |
| SHOWERS | Closed. Use of showers is prohibited. |
| SPECTATORS/FANS/COACHES | Not Permitted for season start. This will be dependant on Provincial and arena specific regulations. |
The truth is that all we're asking from you is to treat everyone with respect, follow the COVID rules, don't drink or smoke, and be a good person. That's not that hard bud!
CODE OF CONDUCTLUG has a zero tolerance policy for violations of our Code of Conduct. There are no exceptions and no second chances for these rules. Any player or team that violates rules will be removed from LUG and will not receive a refund. |

VACCINES
- LUG will follow all rules set out by public health officials in your city, State, Province, and facility.
- All players may be required to be double vaccinated in order to participate based on the rules for participating in your local indoor recreational sport leagues as set out by your local health officials. Please refer to your local health officials for full rules on participating in indoor sports leagues and vaccinations.
- LUG will not provide refunds to any player who requests one due to changes in vaccine status or requirements in their City, State, or Facility in order to participate in organize sports. There are no exceptions to this rule.
GOALIES
In Arena's that require players to arrive dressed, goalies should be as dressed as possible (under-armour, jock, pants) prior to entering. Dressing rooms or chairs will be available for goalies to get the remainder of their equipment on. Check with arena staff on where to go when you arrive.
